Huawei conference on HarmonyOS 2 and new smart devices

Huawei MateView screens

Huawei has added two new displays to its roster with the curved or arched MateView GT display and the traditional flat MateView.

The MateView GT comes with a 34-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and a 1500R curvature. It will support technologies such as HDR10, DCI-P3 color gamut at 90%, and sRGB at 121%. It will also provide support for modes like Crosshairs and Dark Field Control for gaming.

The MateView comes with a 28.2-inch IPS LCD screen with support for 10-bit color technology, and DisplayHDR 400 certification. It will also provide support for DCI-P3 color gamut at 98% and sRGB at 100%.

FreeBuds 4

The new generation of FreeBuds headphones comes with a design that Huawei called Open-Fit, but it is not much different from previous designs.

The speaker will support the Kirin A1 processor, along with Bluetooth 5.2, IPX4 water resistance, and the ability to pair with two devices at the same time.

The FreeBuds 4 allows tap and touch control, and supports a battery that Huawei says lasts up to 20 hours without noise cancellation, and up to 14 hours with dynamic noise cancellation. The headset will support wireless charging.
