The Chinese company Huawei is preparing to reveal what may be its last flagship group at the moment, the company recently announced that it will hold its IFA 2020 event on September 3 in Berlin, Germany.
There is a possibility that the company will unveil the new Kirin 9000 processor during this event, and there is also speculation that the Huawei Mate 40 range will appear.
The event poster features: smart displays, as well as Huawei P40 Pro, laptops, tablets, smart watches and smart speakers. There are also pictures of Huawei smart glasses and wireless glasses.
We do not know exactly what devices will be revealed during the event, Huawei may reveal its latest collection, or it may launch some of its exclusive devices in China for global users.
According to reports, the Huawei Mate 40 will come with a 6.67-inch LG curved screen, and this screen will have a refresh rate of 90Hz. With regard to the cameras, we will find a 50-megapixel main sensor + 20-megapixel wide-angle camera + 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The phone will also feature a laser autofocus module.
There will also be a Mate 40 Pro / Mate 40 Pro + which is supposed to feature an LG Display and BOE supportive 90Hz refresh rate in addition to the Kirin 9000 processor.
With regard to cameras, the phone will arrive with a 50-megapixel sensor using Huawei’s liquid camera technology. Previous reports had believed that this feature would not appear until the Huawei P50 arrives next year, however, the P50 range may not launch.
Moreover, the phone will use TSMC’s Kirin 9000 processor with 5 nm manufacturing technology, with the latest ARM architecture and Huawei’s new NPU integration, 5G range and other technologies. Hence, this greatly enhances the performance of this chip.
As for the Mate 40 range, it may contain the Mate 40 Standard Edition, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro + models. For the first time, these smartphones may not arrive with the same system. There are reports that the Huawei Mate 40 Pro will arrive with EMUI 11 (Android 11). However, the Mate 40 will come with the latest EMUI 10 version (EMUI 10.x).
It is worth noting that Honor’s IFA will be held on September 4, and the champions of this event will be Honor’s new wearables and tablets.
