Linksys unveils the AX4200 Velop router system

Linksys launched the new Velop AX4200 WiFi 6 mesh router system, which comes in the premium category to support users with a greater range and coverage distance, and higher connection speeds for WiFi 6 networks, to support users with better performance with the connection of many devices at home.

The new Velop AX4200 router system comes to support WiFi 6 technology in particular, as the new router system technology aims to support a greater number of users and devices at home, especially with the tendency of many to go to education or work from home, and the Velop AX4200 router system also supports broadcast 4K or 8K content seamlessly.

The feature of streaming 4K or 8K content via the Velop AX4200 router system can support the new gaming platforms from the PS5 and Xbox Series X, as the router system comes with the Qualcomm Networking Pro 800 platform that supports streaming 8 air bands via WiFi 6 dual-band at each Velop unit AX4200.

The routers also come with a 64-bit quad-core ARM processing unit, with a speed of 1.4GHz, and each unit of the system supports one 2.4GHz antenna, and two 5GHz antennas.

The Velop AX4200 also supports the user with the feature of dynamically switching wireless channels to support stronger interconnection between the Velop AX4200 units, to connect to units characterized by a stronger and more efficient connection, or to switch to a wired connection.

Each unit contains 4 gigabit ethernet ports, a WAN port, and three LAN ports to support smart TVs, game consoles, and other devices.

Linksys also confirms that each unit of the Velop AX4200 router system supports coverage of 2,700 square feet of WiFi, and supports more than 40 devices, so 3 units can support coverage of up to 8,100 square feet of WiFi, and support more than 120 devices.

The Velop AX4200 WiFi 6 mesh system supports WPA3 standards for protection, with the feature of fully controlling the system through the Linksys app, and the Velop AX4200 WiFi 6 mesh system is also available today, as one unit of the router system comes at a price of $ 250, or a three-unit system at a price 500 dollars
