Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop 4 “Surface Laptop 4” that it carried with it processors from AMD this time after the company was relying with it on Intel processors. This confirms the recent leaks about processors.
Microsoft is bringing in two 13.5-inch and 15-inch versions of its hardware, and both have the option to have Intel processors or AMD processors.

This device comes in two versions, measuring 13.5 inches and 15 inches, with processors of the eleventh generation of Intel and performance is about 70% stronger. A 13.5-inch version with a Core i5 processor provides up to 17 hours of operation, according to Microsoft, while a 15-inch version with a Core i7 processor provides up to 16.5 hours of operation on a single charge.
The 13.5-inch version with the AMD Ryzen 5 processor provides up to 19 hours of playback on a single charge, while the AMD Ryzen 7 version provides up to 17.5 hours.
This generation comes with a PixelSense touch screen with a pixel density of 201, and a Windows Hello camera with a resolution of 720 pixels for facial recognition.
It also features USB-C and USB-A ports, but without Thunderbolt ports so far, despite their availability in other Microsoft devices.
Pricing and availability
The new Microsoft devices will be available on April 15 in the United States, Canada, and Japan. Without other market information.
Prices will start from $ 999 for a 13.5-inch Ryzen 5 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
With 32 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, it can reach a price of $ 2,299 for a 13.5-inch version and a price of $ 2,399 for a 15-inch version with an Intel Core i7 processor.
