Microsoft also supports Surface Duo with a distinctive 11 mega-pixel camera and f / 2.0 lens slot, which comes with automatic night mode, HDR mode with multiple frames, with super zoom up to 7 times, and the camera also supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second , 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second, the camera also supports the electronic installation feature, also the camera can support the user in video calls or as a main camera in the device.

The Surface Duo also includes a Snapdragon 855 processor chip, and it comes with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB storage capacity, and also supports LTE networks in T-Mobile, AT&T, and also Verizon, but this version does not support connection to 5G networks.

Microsoft provides Surface Duo with a cover to protect the device in the box’s content, and the Surface Duo device includes two batteries that are divided between the two screens with a capacity of 3577 mAh for the two batteries together, and Microsoft confirms that the battery will support the user with a charging life throughout the day or up to 15.5 hours, or 10 days standby time and 27 hours voice calls.

It is also decided that the Surface Duo device will support running all Android applications without any modification, thanks to the separate screen of the device, but Microsoft emphasizes the ability to update the applications to take full advantage of the dual screen in the phone.

On the other hand, the software giant has made some adjustments to the company’s applications such as the Office suite and OneDrive to support dual screens, and Amazon provides Kindle with a new update to support e-reading that simulates books.

Microsoft introduces Surface Duo with an algorithm that predicts the user’s method of opening applications between one screen or using the two screens, and the second screen will launch the second application when clicking on a link to an application on the first screen, for example.
