As for games, it also witnessed a rise during the third quarter, with revenues of $ 20.6 billion, with a proportion of 26.7% of total consumer spending on apps. As games revenue in the App Store accounted for $ 12.4 billion of the total, while Google Play earned $ 8.5 billion.
