Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro in late September, and they are the two phones that come with a different camera design. Now, it looks like the Redmi Series lineup will also have this design.
The Chinese telecom company, China Telecom, has published an image of the Xiaomi Mi 10T on the Chinese social network Weibo, and asked its followers for their opinion of the Redmi K30S phone, which means that the Chinese leader in the smartphone industry is planning to re-launch the Xiaomi Mi 10T phone under the name Redmi K30S. The post was later deleted, but nothing disappears from the internet because someone managed to take a picture for this post.
It is not surprising to see Xiaomi try to re-launch the Mi phone under the Redmi brand. The same thing happened with the Xiaomi Mi 9T and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, which were launched in some other markets under the names Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro.
Due to the low quality of the image, we were unable to confirm whether the aforementioned Chinese telecommunications company had published a picture of the Xiaomi Mi 10T phone or a picture of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro phone. In any case, we expect the Redmi K30S to be priced at the same price as its counterpart of 550 euros, although it is expected that there will be slight changes in the price level depending on the market you are in.
As a reminder, the main difference between the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro phones is in the primary camera. The Xiaomi Mi 10T includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, while the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro includes a better 108-megapixel primary camera.
The only other difference according to the official information that we received today from Xiaomi is that the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro will be available for purchase with 128GB or 256GB of internal memory, while the Xiaomi Mi 10T will be available with only 128GB of internal memory.
As for the rest of the specifications shared by both phones, they include an eight-core Snapdragon 865 processor, a modem compatible with 5G networks, a random memory size of 8GB of the type LPDDR5, a 6.67-inch LCD screen with FullHD + accuracy, with a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as Fingerprint sensor at the side, and a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Moreover, both phones also support Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6, and include a 3.5mm headphone port.
As for the rest of the cameras in both phones, they include one 20-megapixel front camera with a 2.2-lens lens, and two additional cameras in the back regardless of the primary camera, including a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. Apart from the cameras, both phones come pre-installed with Android 10 and MIUI 12.
